The Agriculture Energy Systems Specialist is the Department lead on policy and program development related to energy systems in agriculture and provides advice and recommendations to Management and Senior Management, as well as to the industry and the public regarding energy production and use on farms. This specialist will serve as the Department liaison with key contacts and stakeholders in the provincial and federal government, industry, and academia. The Agriculture Energy Systems Specialist is responsible for the policy research, development, and management of programs related to energy efficiency, renewable energy generation, and innovative agriculture energy projects.
