The Bilingual (French/English) Social Service Worker (Long Term Care Financial Assessment Worker) is responsible to provide initial and ongoing assessments and financial reviews for Long Term Care (LTC) subsidization eligibility to residents requiring LTC (nursing level of care).  Assessments are completed for residents waiting for LTC admission, acute care patients with a designation of Alternate Level of Care - Long Term Care (ALC-LTC) and annual reviews for all subsidized residents living in LTC.  The incumbent works collaboratively with colleagues, applicants and their representatives to assess eligibility in a timely fashion by accurately determining the applicant’s net income and determining monthly accommodation payments for all subsidized residents.  This is a Full-time (75 hours bi-weekly) permanent position starting as soon as possible.
