A day camp leader is primarily responsible for the well-being and safety of youth participants while at camp. They coordinate engaging activities for the campers, develop new programs, and supervise campers to make sure they are safe and happy. The most important of all the duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits for this role.
