The Senior Programmer provides programming experience and expertise to a development team of programmers, business analysts, contractors, and designers providing support for and enhancing the foundational elements used to provide public and internal digital services. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering applications and services to Government. This includes designing, building, and implementing new web pages; integrating sites with back end applications; migrating legacy applications to the web; and performing day-to-day administration of the Government of Prince Edwards Island’s web portfolio.  Use of a variety of development languages is required.
