GLOCAL Foundation of Canada, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that promotes digital civic engagement and digital skills for youth in Canada are offering summer job opportunities. These positions are designed to provide students with valuable work experience in various areas such as social media, community engagement, data administration, and compliance, among others. 

Available positions:

• Social Media Officer: Develop, implement, and manage GLOCAL's social media strategy, oversee social media content, and measure the success of every social media campaign.
• Immigrants Engagement Officer: Support supervisors in developing educational workshops to raise awareness among immigrants and refugees on Canadian immigration policies and the Canadian political system.
• Overseas Canadians Engagement Officer: Develop databases on Canadian consulates, embassies, overseas Canadian organizations, and business associations.
• Indigenous Community Engagement Officer: Build relationships and establish dialogues with Indigenous organizations to better understand the perspectives of Indigenous peoples on civic engagement and democratic participation in Canada.
• Research Assistant: Conduct research on political representatives at all three levels of government across Canada, understand the political environment of the province, and conduct weekly thorough research on legislative updates.
• Data Administrator: Compile and analyze the database on political representatives in all 13 provinces + territories in Canada, as well as one data administrator working on the federal level for curation on YouCount.ca.
• Youth Development Coordinator: Engage youth, civil society organizations, schools, and universities all across Canada in Canadian civic affairs and conduct research and develop youth outreach projects.
• Regulatory Compliance Officer: Develop, implement, and manage the foundation's compliance program, plan, implement, and oversee risk-related programs. 
• UI/UX Designer: Brainstorm with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas, refine image design using illustration software, and apply complex isometric techniques to add perspective to design shapes.
