The PEI Human Rights Commission is seeking a summer student intern/researcher. The HRC is an independent organization whose purpose is to enforce the PEI Human Rights Act through a complaint process, dispute resolution and adjudicative function, educate the public and advise government in the field of human rights. The HRC promotes accountability, dignity, respect and inclusiveness. 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • conduct human rights research and prepare related reports
  • assist in the day to day operation of the HRC
  • create and develop educational materials and presentations
  • observe and participate in the investigation, adjudication and resolution of complaints
