Closing Date:

We are currently in need of volunteers to become Scouters with the Stratford PEI Scouts.  Scouters are the people that facilitate the activities for youth during our weekly meetings.

The Stratford Scout group has the following sections that meet once per week:

  • Beaver Scouts (ages 5-7) Wednesday 6:15 – 7:15 pm
  • Cub Scouts (ages 8-10) Wednesday 6:15 – 7:45 pm
  • Scouts (ages 11-15) Wednesday or Saturday (times vary)

We are in need of volunteers to help at our meetings.  If you have a love of the outdoors and/or a love of working with youth we would love to have you!

Our mission is to help develop well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world. This is done following the Scout Method which uses non-formal educational methods to engage youth in the process of their own development, giving them program activities, guidance and tools to help them become self-reliant, confident, caring, responsible and committed to the world around them. The Scout Method is an approach unique to Scouting throughout the world and includes each of the following seven essentials:

The Scouting Promise and Law

  • Learning by Doing
  • The Patrol (Team) System
  • Nature
  • Symbolic Framework
  • Personal Progression
  • Scouter Support
