The Get REAL Movement is excited to be launching an amazing new virtual event on Saturday, March 25th, 2023: a free, one-day virtual Career Conference for 100 university and college students facing one or more barriers in the workforce, to provide professional skill development, real-world education from diverse industry professionals, and opportunities for students to network with companies they might not otherwise have the chance to! To apply, click here. Applications are due March 13th, 2023.  Morning: Professional skills-based workshops in the morning led by Deloitte, and globally recognized Career Strategy Coach & Former Fortune 500 Senior Director Tiffany Uman:

Afternoon: Five different educational panels with leading industry professionals in the following fields:

  2. Start-ups & Entrepreneurship
  3. DEI in the Corporate Space
  4. Non-Profits & Charities
  5. Recruiters and Hiring Managers
The day will conclude with virtual breakout rooms where students will have the chance to meet recruiters at ten different companies, including Kiehl's Canada, Deloitte, Recipe Unlimited, and Purdys Chocolatier. The whole event is totally free for students, and also includes lunch, gift bags, prizing, and more!
