PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre is looking for a creative candidate who thrives in community collaboration with a passion for supporting survivors of sexualized violence, who is dedicated to bringing anti-colonial, anti-oppressive and intersectional feminism to sexual violence prevention work within Prince Edward Island. Working alongside and reporting to the Executive Director, the Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator (SVPC), and the Sexual Assault Awareness Response Working Group (SARWG) the Sexual Violence Support Worker is responsible for the co-development and co-delivery of public education programs and presentations that are client-focused, trauma-informed, community-focused and stigma-reducing, the co-development of our Counselling Request and Support Line program, and other duties as required.
