Interns in the Municipal Internship Program will be trained and developed to be municipal professionals in either administration/policy or accounting/finance in a host municipality in Alberta. Duties will vary depending on location but will entail developing and reviewing bylaws and policies, leading and managing projects, planning events, supporting strategic planning and budget development, as well as learning about how municipal government works in Alberta. Hours of work are typically between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
