Workshop 1 in a 4-part series
Mondays in March are about Building Resiliency!
The 4-part workshop series for current UPEI graduate students led by Learner Well-being Consultant Marla MacDonald will focus on an approach that helps you “drop the struggle” with difficult thoughts and emotions, supporting you in developing your resiliency.
The workshops will be a hybrid delivery, with the option to join in-person or online. Register to receive a calendar invitation with in-person location & Teams link information. Note - although there is a virtual option to join the workshops they will not be recorded due to the interactive and personal nature of the discussions and content.

Workshop Theoretical Model & Design - Based on the concept of psychological flexibility, you will learn how to adapt to difficult experiences and use your core values to guide your actions. Teaching is done through experiential learning, rather than only didactic teaching. This means you will be asked to participate in exercises in session and to practice skills between sessions. This is of course optional, but just like learning a new instrument, you can only go so far reading about how to play the instrument. It’s best to get in there and try it.
Have questions?: For questions about the theoretical model or workshops, please contact Marla MacDonald at: marmacdonald@upei.ca for questions about workshop logistics please contact Kendra Mellish at: kmellish@upei.ca
Hope to have you join us Mondays in March to build your skills in resiliency!
