University's letter to the Minister in response to UPEI Faculty Association

The following message and letter was distributed by email to faculty and staff on August 5, 2022.
On Friday, August 5, 2022, the UPEI Faculty Association bargaining team advised that they filed for conciliation, and further, the Faculty Association declared that as a result, direct collective bargaining is now at an end. The University believes this is premature. Our letter to the Minister is attached.
