Summer is a great time to catch up with classmates and friends, and two AVC classes are celebrating anniversaries next month.

The Class of 1994 will hold its 25th anniversary reunion from August 2–3 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Plans include an informal get-together on the Friday evening in Halifax. The highlight of Saturday evening is a gathering at The Links at Penn Hills golf course in Shubenacadie. For information, please contact Dr. Emma Raghavan at emmar@eastlink.ca

The Class of 2009 will celebrate its tenth anniversary from August 9–11 on PEI. On Friday, August 9, there will be a reception in AVC’s McCain Foundation Learning Commons and tours of the College. On Saturday, everyone is invited to a family picnic and afternoon at King’s Castle Provincial Park and Beach Point beach from 11 am to 4 pm (bring your own food and drinks). That evening there will be a pub crawl in Charlottetown, starting at The Factory at 7 pm and ending up at Peakes Quay at 10 pm, and on Sunday, a farewell lunch at the PEI Brewing Company at noon. Please RSVP to Dr. Charlie Pye at cpye@upei.ca if you plan to attend the lunch on Sunday. For more information, contact Dr. Susi Spicer at susi.brown@outlook.com
