UPEI shoebox event, November 14

UPEI Cares will be hosting an Operation Christmas Child event to pack shoe boxes with school supplies, hygiene items and toys, etc., to be sent to children in need across the world. 

An initiative of the UPEI Healthy Campus Committee is to bring our Staff, Students, Faculty & Alumni together to increase collaborations and this event will provide a great opportunity to do so!
 
How can YOU get involved?
 
1.) Sign up online to volunteer at the event on Saturday, November 14 at the UPEI Chaplaincy Centre. There will 2 shifts to choose from: 9:30 am-12:00 pm and 1:00-3:30 pm.
 
2.) Donate items to fill the shoe boxes.
 
Items can be dropped off at the following locations until 4pm on Friday, Nov. 13:
- W.A. Murphy Centre lobby
- AVC, outside the cafeteria
- Chaplaincy Centre
- Kelley Building, 2nd floor lounge

3.) Monetary donations can be made at the UPEI Bookstore until 4pm on Friday, Nov.13. 
This will help pay for shoe box supplies and cover shipping costs.
