Presidential Review 2015
A Presidential Review Committee has started its work to review the performance of Dr. Alaa Abd- El Aziz, who is seeking a second term as President. UPEI Board of Governors established a Presidential Review Committee at their meeting on Thursday, November 27th, 2014. The Committee updated a “Terms of Reference” document used in 2003 and this document has been approved by the Board of Governors.
On January 7, 2015, letters were sent to the off-campus contact list and the on-campus contact list, and a general notice was sent to all faculty and staff requesting comments. A January 23rd deadline date for submissions was approved by Committee members. Participants may submit their written comments to presidentialreview@upei.ca. No anonymous submissions will be accepted. All responses and comments will remain strictly confidential and will be reviewed solely by the committee.
Following the review, the committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Governors regarding reappointment.
