Background: | Connie Ding is from China and joined the UPEI Panther family in 2019. With the guidance and supervision of Dr. Tess Miller, she completed her Master of Education in 2021. Following her graduation, Connie joined UPEl's International Relations Office as an International Student Recruiter and Advisor, where she continues to make a meaningful impact. As an international student herself, she experienced exceptional support from UPEI's faculty and staff, whose kindness and encouragement were instrumental in helping her achieve her goals. Connie is deeply grateful for this support, and this has inspired her to help other international students succeed. Connie is establishing this award to inspire and empower international students, fostering a sense of belonging, supporting their academic and personal success, and helping them prepare for rewarding careers. |
