| Description: | Granted to DVM students at the Atlantic Veterinary College who are graduating from the four year program and intend to practice large animal medicine with a special interest and priority for bovine medicine. The students must demonstrate a) knowledge of, and the ability to network with, the dairy and / or beef industry and b ) the ability to network with Canadian bovine veterinarians. Preference will be given to students with strong connections to Atlantic Canada. |
| Background: | In November 2021, the Atlantic Veterinary College received a very generous gift from an anonymous donor. The gift is intended to create an endowed fund in support of awards for AVC students. |
