Description: Granted to a minimum of three students (domestic and international students) who are enrolled in a residency program at AVC specializing in an area that will benefit companion animals.
Background: Mary Warren, beloved wife of Roger W. Warren for 52 years, was born in Scotland in 1938 and passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home in Toronto. She was an animal lover and a generous philanthropist. These scholarships are named for one of her much loved companion animals. In her Will, Mary provided for a leadership gift to the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. The College will be forever grateful for her foresight in planning her gift and will be honoured to provide for these tuition scholarships in perpetuity.
