| Description: | Granted to an academically deserving student entering their first year of study in a major program in the School of Mathematical and Computation Sciences who is in greatest financial need and not in receipt of another major donor funded award or scholarship. |
| Background: | In June 2017, TD Bank Group pledged $350,000 to UPEI?s School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS). Previous discussions between TD Bank Group and UPEI led to general agreement that the monies would be targeted towards: student scholarships and awards, student experiential learning opportunities, and SMCS in promotions and outreach initiatives |
