| Description: | Granted to a returning UPEI student in any level of full-time study who has demonstrated extraordinary involvement in extracurricular activities across campus, within UPEI student societies, and through athletics and/or other events. Academic achievement will not be a defining factor. Employees and elected officials of the UPEI Student Union do not qualify. |
| Background: | The UPEI Student Union was founded in 1970 as a not-for-profit organization representing full-time students at UPEI. It is dedicated to fostering pride in the university, the betterment of university life, and enhancing the student experience at UPEI. As a unifying body, the UPEI Student Union strives to provide leadership while assisting students as they obtain the highest standards in their academic and personal life; enhancing their quality of life now and into the future. The UPEI Student Union Campus Leadership award was create in 2017 to recognize a student that has been an active member of the campus community while enhancing theirs and others experience at UPEI. |
