The Biosafety Officer will be offering Bloodborne Pathogen training for faculty, staff, and students who work with or may be exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Date: October 29
Time: 1:00-2:30 pm
Location: AVC Room 278N

This training will cover:

• Bloodborne pathogen hazards and routes of exposure
• Safe work practices and exposure prevention
• Personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Spill response and incident reporting procedures
• Relevant biosafety requirements and responsibilities

Individuals whose work involves handling human blood, tissues, body fluids, or other potentially infectious materials are encouraged to attend.
