Soup by numbers ...14 events, hosted by 5 faculties and 9 other campus departments/groups, with teams of approximately 8 per event, that is 112 people as hosts.  Then, add in the 15 student volunteers who help set up. 127 people serving soup to (drum roll, please)  ... 4161 students last year!

When I also consider the 2 exam chili/daal events, we can add 554 students served good food in a friendly environment at no cost to them.  

That's a lot of food building a lot of community spirit!  

So it is time to say "Thank you!".  These events would not happen without the support of staff and faculty and the attendance of students - that's all of us, doing our part to foster the environment that is safe, inclusive and trusted.

I cannot look back without also looking ahead. As I build the calendar for 2026-2027, please reach out to book your date.  A few groups have already asked so if you have date in mind, don't hesitate.
