This annual competition is a public recital showcasing five of the UPEI Music Department’s outstanding emerging artists who were selected in a preliminary round. This year's finalists are Seth Cudmore-Gallant (trombone), Sadie Ghiz (soprano), Amy LeBlanc (flute), Emi Smith (soprano), and Nathan Wright (alto saxophone). The top awards include a cash prize, and will be chosen by an adjudication panel consisting of distinguished members of PEI's musical community.
