The UPEI Faculty of Arts will celebrate the publication of ten new books by UPEI faculty during a public book launch today. All are welcome.

The UPEI Relay for Life Committee will hold an on-campus registration day on Friday, January 8, from noon to 2 p.m. Registration stations will be set up in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, the AVC and Robertson Library. The Committee is challenging all students, student societies, staff, and faculty to get involved in the university’s Relay for Life, which will take place on March 12, 2010, in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The team that raises the most money will be treated to a lunch with UPEI President Wade MacLauchlan (to be confirmed). Our goal this year is to exceed last year’s total of $20,000 to fund cancer research and support services for people living with cancer. Join us as we celebrate, remember and fight back!
