UPEI Concert Choir & Guests in Performance
The annual Fall UPEI Choral Concert takes place at the Dr. Steel Recital Hall on Saturday November 29 at 7:30 pm. Under the direction of Professor Sung Ha Shin-Bouey the Concert Choir and soloists from the UPEI Vocal Program will present Mozart’s “Coronation Mass,” works by Palestrina and Eric Whitacre, as well as contemporary folk and jazz pieces
Soloists include sopranos; Rebecca Apps and Lindsay Gillis, altos; Hannah Rollwage and Olivia Barnes, tenors; William Millington and Cody Collins, and basses; Travis Boudreau and Parker Clements.
Special guests for the evening will be Le Ragazze and I Ragazzi Jrs vocal ensembles, also under the direction of Professor Shin-Bouey.

Groundbreaking for the School of Sustainable Design Engineering

Join the President; the Honourable Robert Ghiz, Premier; the Honourable Allen Roach, Minister of Innovation and Advanced Learning; UPEI Board of Governors Chair Tom Cullen; and UPEI Student Union President Lucas MacArthur as they mark the beginning of construction in the Health Sciences Building Lobby on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00 am.
Hot beverages will be served before proceeding to the construction site.
Public Service of Canada Information Session
The Public Service Commission is reaching out to recent UPEI alumni and current students by offering an information session on job opportunities within the Government of Canada. Students and recent alumni are invited to stop in to ask questions about the public service, to find out how to apply, to gain knowledge on the type of opportunities available and to gather tips on how to improve their application.

Shaping a Successful Life by Henry Tam, UPEI Alumnus
The University of Prince Edward Island is pleased to inform you that Mr. Henry Tam, proud alumnus (BBA’73), scholarship donor, and chair of UPEI’s Alumni and Friends Toronto Chapter, will visit campus on Monday December 15 to deliver a presentation about his life-altering experience as a student at UPEI.
In 1969 Mr. Tam travelled from Hong Kong to study at St. Dunstan’s University and UPEI. While here Mr. Tam adjusted to a new culture and language, and excelled as a student. He was the first graduate of UPEI’s Bachelor of Business Administration program to win the prestigious Governor General’s silver medal, and has gone on to a successful career as a respected accountant, financial advisor, and tax consultant. He is founder and senior partner of H. Tam and Partner LLP, Chartered Accountants, in Toronto.

Darlene Robison, BScN, will defend her Master of Nursing thesis entitled The Lived Experience of Dignity in Older Adults Living with Schizophrenia: A Phenomenological Study.
