Job Search Strategies Workshop (online with Google Meet)
An online session for UPEI students and alumni

As the summer approaches, many students turn their attention to summer work, and graduate students are keen to begin their careers. What are the best ways for finding work? This workshop will discuss strategies for finding employment opportunities based on your goals. Only current UPEI students or alumni are eligible to attend this workshop.
Time Management Sessions (online with Google Meet)
For current UPEI students
1:00–2:00 pm
During this workshop, Accessibility Services staff will guide you through your syllabuses and support you in developing a plan to manage your time and assignments. We will also show you tools and apps you can use to make managing your time easier.
Workshops will take place via Google Meet on September 10 and 11 from 1:00–2:00 pm. We will also be available from 2:00–2:30 pm to answer questions but students are not expected to stay.

Presented by the Experiential Education department, and held online through Google Meet.
International Student Orientation - online welcome
Dr. Jerry Wang of UPEI's enrolment team will deliver a welcome speech to all new incoming international students at the beginning of the presentation.
Then he will briefly introduce the education system in Canada and how to be successful at UPEI!
His presentation will take 30-40 minutes, and then we will do "Questions and Answers" for 20 minutes.

AVC students help barn swallow chicks thrive
AVC students Austin Ebbott and Joey Buzzell gained valuable experience caring for a protected species when they helped care for barn swallow chicks at the AVC Wildlife Service last month.
