UPEI supporting literacy and numeracy on PEI
The University of Prince Edward Island’s Faculty of Education is launching a survey about literacy and numeracy. All Islanders are welcome to share their perspectives about literacy and numeracy before the survey’s closing date of February 3, 2020.
UPEI Athletics and Recreation launches the UPEI Panthers App
UPEI Athletics and Recreation has launched the official UPEI Panthers App, a mobile application that provides easy access to game schedules, upcoming events, results, standings, statistics, notifications and alerts.
“We're excited to partner with Thinking Big on this valuable tool for Panther fans,” said Chris Huggan, Director of Athletics and Recreation. “In this initial phase of the roll-out, the UPEI Panthers app provides the latest information about your UPEI Panthers including upcoming games and events, results and highlights.”
MA Island Studies Thesis Defence
Adam Brimacombe's MA Island Studies thesis defence has been rescheduled to Friday, January 31st, 11:15am, in Rm. 210 Robertson Library. Adam's thesis is entitled, " Aspects of Global Environmental Change in Relation to Papua New Guinea, Small Islands and Human Security". You are welcome to attend. Panthers at Home, January 24 to 26
It’s a big weekend at home for the UPEI varsity teams! The Panthers host three days of solid action at home, including the annual Shoot for the Cure and Pink in the Rink games in support of breast cancer research. UPEI men’s basketball and hockey are both honouring great alumni teams. There’s so much going on, we’re calling it the Panther Packed Weekend!
