Faculty member Dr. Gabriela Arias de Sanchez is seeking one research assistant to work on a project that examines Play based pedagogies in Prince Edward Island.


  • Conduct large focus groups transcriptions


  • Enrolled in a UPEI Graduate program
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing/editing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Availability to work during interrupted periods of time (first two weeks of February, March, April, & May). This may change depending on data collection process.
  • Understanding of early years and early childhood education

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
