Student Assistant - Human Resources Department *Reposted*
$14.50 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

The Human Resources Department is seeking a student assistant to work up to 10 hours per week; schedule may vary depending upon the needs of the department during the term.
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the student will work on a combination of day to day assignments as well as general office and clerical routines, including:
- Word processing, data entry, spreadsheets
- Data verification, proofreading
- Assisting with mail-outs and other distribution
- Photocopying, shredding
- Retrieving and inputting information
- Other related duties
- Strong computer skills in Word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Good analytical skills, accuracy, discretion and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Courses in Human Resource Management; and General management and/or related experience would be a definite asset
Priority is given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
