The Music department is looking to hire a Student Assistant to be a part of the stage crew for the Jazz Ensemble for the 2022/2023 academic year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set-up and tear-down of the Jazz Ensemble equipment for rehearsals and concerts
  • This student should consult with Prof. Shephard for instruction on the arrangement of the ensemble and should meet with him and the rhythm section for instruction/assistance in setting up the rhythm equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with band set- up would be an asset
  • Must be a music major
  • Preference will be given to senior students

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
