Sessional Instructor - School of Climate Change and Adaptation - Faculty of Science (Winter 2023)
The School of Climate Change and Adaptation at the University of Prince Edward Island has opening for sessional instructor to teach a course in the Bachelor of Science program in Applied Climate Change and Adaptation in the Winter Semester 2023. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course. It will be delivered at the St Peter’s Bay Campus.
ACC 3140 – Carbon Pricing Mechanisms
This interdisciplinary course will provide an understanding of business in the era of climate change by examining the implementation of carbon pricing systems and the need for adaptation measures to address the changing physical and regulatory environments. Specialized activities will focus on the critical role of understanding climate change in business risk assessment using a business sector of each student's choice.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a minimum of a master's level degree or equivalent with a combination of qualifications and experience.
Note: Members of the School of Climate Change and Adaptation’s Sessional Roster will be given priority in consideration for this position.
