The L.M. Montgomery Institute (LMMI) (https://www.lmmontgomery.ca/) is seeking student assistants for its 15th Biennial Conference, held at UPEI. Most conference participants will be on campus in person, while some will participate virtually. Student assistant work will be carried out in person, on campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with delegate registration and queries
  • Assist with set-up and tear down
  • Manage Zoom access for virtual and in-person settings
  • Assist with conference session management
  • Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • UPEI Student
  • Highly dependable and responsible
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Zoom
  • Comfort with managing technology
  • Familiarity with the life and/or work of L.M. Montgomery is desirable

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
