The Department of Biomedical Sciences is seeking a sessional instructor to deliver the following course to first-year veterinary students during the Winter 2023 semester. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

VBS 1220 – Physiology II

This course continues the delivery of physiology, providing understanding of system, cell, and biochemical functions of importance in common domestic species. Systems include renal, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and reproductive. In addition to delivering course content, responsibilities include assessment of student performance. 

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a DVM and/or graduate degree (MSc or higher, in physiology or a related field).  Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in physiology, but those with evidence of effective teaching in related fields will also be considered. 

Priority will be given to members of the UPEI Sessional Roster for the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
