Student Research Assistant - Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering
$13.70 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
May 2, 2022 to September 2, 2022
Dr. Swingler in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is seeking a Student Research Assistant in focusing on Sustainable Energy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research project support in the low carbon remote community electrification
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in UPEI Program with a background and interest in Sustainable Energy
- Excellent hands-on skills
- Competence in Arduino programming and electronics
- Experience with solar photovoltaic technology
- MATLAB proficiency
- Strong academic record
- Ability to work independently
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
