The Department of Modern Languages of the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for Sessional Instructors for the Fall 2024 Semester. We are seeking an instructor to teach the following course in the Department of Modern Languages. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

FR-1010 French Languages and Culture I (3 credits) (Online)

This course proposes fundamentals of French language and culture through a progressive acquisition of basic communication skills and an understanding of the practices and products of French language and Francophone cultures. This course is open only to students who have a limited background in French. The French Placement Test is mandatory in order to enroll.


Successful applicants will have a graduate degree or a doctoral degree.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster and full-time and contract Faculty members of the Academic unit.
