This position is responsible for providing residential services, outreach, and intensive support and direction to high needs children (ages 6-12) and youth (11-17) of high needs on behalf of the Residential Services.  The incumbent will work from a team and community-based approach to implement plans of care that most effectively meet the developmental needs of children and youth involved with residential services. The incumbent will work closely with the community, family members, and others significantly involved, in addition to the child and youth, and will be able to flexibly adapt available services to the needs of the children/youth.  In addition, if/as the profiled needs of high needs children and youth change, the incumbent must be sufficiently adaptable to make the transition to provide different kinds of services as required.  On occasion, the incumbent may be asked to work their scheduled shift at an alternative location to meet the needs of the program.
