AGE-WELL AgeTech Discovery Day event to be held at UPEI on October 1
The Health Research Network at the University of Prince Edward Island will host an AGE-WELL AgeTech Discovery Day event on October 1 in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, from 10 am to 12 pm.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover and experience technologies designed to support healthy aging, independence, and quality of life. They will explore AgeTech innovations designed to support independence, health, and quality of life through hands-on demonstrations; meet local researchers; hear about technologies that support aging in place; and learn how to get involved in research.
UPEI is one of nine locations in seven provinces that will participate in the AGE-WELL AgeTech Discovery Day, marking National Seniors Day. A national virtual session will take place on the day as well.
