UPEI Panthers this Week (January 19–25)
The UPEI Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away.
Wednesday, January 21
AT HOME:
7:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers host the University of New Brunswick Reds at MacLauchlan Arena. The theme for the game is “Bell Let’s Talk” in support of mental health. Game goers can also help support mental health awareness through the “Saves for Mental Health” program spearheaded by UPEI goalies Sarah Forsythe and Erin Cabaday. For the final 10 UPEI Women’s Hockey Panther games and playoffs, fans can pledge $1 per save and $10 per Panthers win. All proceeds go directly towards the Canadian Mental Health Association of PEI. Friday, January 23
AT HOME:
The UPEI Hall of Fame ceremony honouring Greg Gravel will be held at 4:15 pm in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. The business-casual event is part of UPEI Hockey’s annual Alumni Day celebrations. It will include appetizers and a cash bar and is open to the public.
The induction will anchor a full day of Alumni Day programming, highlighted by the Green and White Games at 2:30 pm, and on-ice ceremonies just prior to a marquee matchup between UPEI and Dalhousie University at 7:00 pm at MacLauchlan Arena.
AWAY:
6:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
8:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

AT HOME:
3:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers host the St. Thomas Tommies at MacLauchlan Arena.
7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers host the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men at MacLauchlan Arena.
AWAY:
1:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
3:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
