UPEI Panthers this Week (October 27–November 2)

The UPEI Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and on the road. 

Friday, October 31
AT HOME:
6:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers host the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre for their home opener.
7:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers host the Dalhousie University Tigers at MacLauchlan Arena.
8:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers host the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre for their home opener.
AWAY:
7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers will play the Dalhousie Tigers in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Saturday, November 1
AT HOME:
2:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.
3:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at MacLauchlan Arena.
4:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Basketball Panthers play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies at MacLauchlan Arena. Prior to the game (fans are encouraged to arrive early), the 2024-25 championship banner will be unveiled. Championship t-shirts will be given to students who attend the game.
AWAY:
7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers will play the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Special Event:
The Field Hockey Canada U SPORTS Invitational Championship takes place from October 30 to November 2 at UPEI. 

Teams include Dalhousie University Tigers (AUFH Runner-up), York University Lions (OUA Champions), University of Victoria Vikes (Canada West Champions), and host UPEI Panthers (AUFH Champions).

12:00 pm: Bronze Medal Game
2:30 pm: Gold Medal Game
