Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre to host webinar series

The Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre (SJDAWC) at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island, is pleased to announce its 2024 Webinar Series.

The series will take place on March 12, 19, and 26 from 4 to 5 p.m. Atlantic Time, and will feature Dr. Karen Overall, professor of behavioural medicine, Department of Health Management, AVC.

This webinar series will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic affects the early life environment and experiences of canine and feline patients. The series will end with a review of new and exciting research in veterinary behavioural medicine.

Registration is required for the webinar series. The cost to register is $60 per webinar or $150 for all three (HST and Eventbrite fees will be added when registering). The webinars are free for students.

The webinars are designed for the veterinary community, although members of the public can choose to attend. Participating veterinarians and veterinary technicians will earn one hour of Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE) credit per webinar (RACE-program number: 20-1163580).
