UPEI congratulates Dr. Margaret Magner on being named one of Atlantic Canada’s 25 Most Powerful Women

Margaret Magner has been named to Atlantic Business Magazine's list of Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Atlantic Canada in 2022

The University of Prince Edward Island community congratulates Dr. Margaret Magner, sessional instructor at UPEI and CEO of the PEI Business Women’s Association, on being named one of the top 25 most powerful women in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business Magazine.

“On behalf of UPEI, I congratulate Dr. Magner on achieving this recognition,” said interim UPEI President Greg Keefe. “Her innovative work with the PEI Business Women’s Association, Atlantic Canada Women in Growth Partnership, PEI’s first business accelerator and start-up incubator for women, and many other initiatives is inspiring.” 

Magner is an award-winning playwright, sector champion on the provincial growth and recovery committee, governor of the National Theatre School of Canada, and founder of Magner Ink. She joins three other PEI recipients honoured this year: Cathy Rose, Martie Murphy, and Sherry Huang.
