Possible COVID-19 exposure site on campus

The following message was distributed to faculty, staff, and students on behalf of the Office of the Vice-President Administration and Finance.

Dear Members of the UPEI Community,

I am writing to advise you that the PEI Chief Public Health Office (PEI CPHO) has informed us today of a possible COVID-19 exposure site on campus, specifically the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre on Sunday, December 5, between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

The PEI CPHO has advised us that this exposure is associated with a previously announced COVID-19 case and that contact tracing has been completed. 

The University will continue to follow the direction of the PEI CPHO, and we ask that you please visit their website for specific details and guidance:
