The Class of 2020 from the University of Prince Edward Island is one for the history books. The 2019–2020 academic year began with celebrating UPEI’s 50th anniversary and ended in the midst of a global pandemic which kept students, faculty, and staff physically apart.  Graduating students persevered. They put in the work; they gave their time, they demonstrated their intelligence and creativity, and they succeeded!

Because of the pandemic, UPEI’s Convocation ceremonies cannot take place as planned; however. UPEI will celebrate the accomplishments of the graduates in other ways on Friday, May 15.

On Friday, UPEI will post the list of graduates and senior class award winners at UPEI.ca. Graduates will be emailed a special congratulatory video message from their respective deans. UPEI will also courier graduates their degree or diploma parchments and alumni pins. Faculty and staff at UPEI are so proud of the achievements of the Class of 2020. The entire University community looks forward to welcoming them into UPEI’s 26,000-strong alumni family.
