The fifth Rob Haines Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, October 6 at Glen Afton Golf Course. Join us for a day of fun as we pay tribute to a colleague who had a deep and lasting impact on our lives, our students, and our University as a whole, while raising funds for the Dr. Robert Haines Graduate Research Award in Chemistry. The tournament will begin at noon for those playing 18 holes, and at 1:00 pm for 9 holes. No golfing skill or experience required—best ball/scramble format. Register individually or in teams of four. Cost is $30 for 9 holes including a shared golf cart or $43 for 18 holes with cart. Sliding scale available for students on a budget, just let us know. Club rental extra. There will also be a barbecue dinner following the tournament. Cost for the barbecue, including hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, dessert, drinks, and other goodies is $15.
