"How to Boil a Frog"- comedic documentary

Event Date:
Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 7:00 pm
Location:
Don and Marion McDougall Hall
Room:
242
This holiday season, the UPEI Environmental Society, in conjunction with Oxfam PEI, is showing a comedic documentary about what happens when we consume too much. "How to Boil a Frog" is not an interpretation of "An Inconvenient Truth," nor is it a documentary about the apocalypse. It is, however, a very informative presentation about our relationship with the Earth. We encourage everyone to come out and we guarantee that the movie will incite laughter and thought! The screening is free (or by donation) and will be followed by a discussion, so stick around afterwards! Oxfam PEI will also be collecting donations for Oxfam Unwrapped, an online, alternative giving program that offers a selection of life-changing gifts. We have gifts that allow you to give something special to someone who has everything, while at the same time giving something meaningful to someone who needs it. Doors open at 6:40pm!
