"82%" Comes To UPEI

Event Date:
Tuesday, October 25, 2011, 2:30 am
Faculty members from the University 100 program would like to invite all members of the UPEI community to attend an educational theater experience taking place on campus this month. "82%" is The Responsible Gambling Council's latest drama. It poignantly explores some of the non-monetary costs facing a young adult and those around him when his gambling gets out of control. The performance uses professional young actors and age-specific language and messaging, incorporating insights from extensive research and real-life anecdotes designed to address the risks associated with youth gambling. There are two performances taking place on campus and both are open to all students, faculty and staff. The first is on Tuesday, October 25th at 2:30 pm in the Steele Recital Hall and the second is on Wednesday, October 26th at 11:30 am in McMillan Hall, in the Murphy Student Center. Please join us for what is sure to be a powerful performance.
