EastTech Engineering Consultants have been commissioned to perform some geotechnical investigation and material testing for some areas on Campus, they will be on-site on Thursday, May 25th digging test pits in the Reserved Parking area in front of Don and Marion McDougall Hall, Parking Lot B, F and on the ring road extension between Blanchard Hall and Bernardine Hall, they will be doing 2 – 3 test pits in each location. This work involves the use of a backhoe to dig the test pits to retrieve the samples, each test pit location will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
While the contractors have been instructed that the work be executed with the least possible interference or disturbance to the campus community, a certain amount of disruption is inevitable. Your patience and understanding is appreciated as we proceed with this renovation project that will enhance the facility.
