Day of Inclusion Awareness at UPEI

Posting Date(s)
On October 22nd 2015 we will be hosting a Day of Inclusion Awareness at UPEI in McMillan Hall. The day will promote the importance of creating a inclusive environment, with a focus on, but not limited to, LGBTQ, Accessibility/Disability and Cultural Diversity Awareness. The day will include an Inclusion Fair in MacMillan Hall in the Student Centre from 11am-3pm in which we are looking for societies, departments, groups, companies and organizations who promote diversity and inclusion to participate. The fair will consist of information booths, games, activities and performances. We are also looking for groups to host various games and activities (we have a list of ideas, or you can come up with your own), as well as perform during the fair. In the evening we will be having the 6th Annual Candlelight Vigil Against Homophobia and Bullying starting at 6pm, followed by Diversity Trivia hosted by the Student Diversity Office and Get Real UPEI.
