Chaplaincy Centre

The Chaplaincy Centre was built in 1965 as St. Dunstan’s Student Union Coffee Shop and served the Student Union for several years until they moved to “The Barn” in 1971.

Located just north of the Robertson Library building, the Chaplaincy Centre houses the Chaplain's office, worship and prayer areas, a meditation chapel and provides a location to meet, socialize, pray and hold religious services.

The UPEI Campus Minister provides a spiritual presence that is supportive of students, faculty, administration and staff.  Spiritual accompaniment and pastoral counselling, as well as opportunities for inquiry into faith and programs designed to enhance social, intellectual, and personal growth are offered. The Centre is student-driven – new ideas are welcome. Regular opportunities for worship of all faiths are available at the Chaplaincy Centre.
