| Background: | The objective of the Clan MacPhail in establishing an entrance-level scholarship to the University of Prince Edward Island is to encourage and support further education for Island students. The funds supporting the scholarship are the result of activities during the 2006 MacPhail Reunion. The Clan MacPhail appreciates its Scottish heritage and recognizes the importance to the education of Island students will help to ensure that Island institutions and culture will continue to thrive as an important legacy from the past to the future. |
